Cost of attending University of San Diego for out-of-state students?

Hey everyone, I'm considering the University of San Diego but I live out-of-state. Anyone have a good figure for how much tuition might be for someone in my shoes? I'm trying to get a feel for whether it'd work with my family's budget.

The University of San Diego (USD) is a private institution, which means that tuition is the same regardless of whether you're an in-state or out-of-state student.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, the total cost of attendance at USD (including tuition, room and board, books, and personal expenses) is estimated to be around $50,690. Of this, tuition and fees account for approximately $12,600 and on-campus room and board costs around $23,030, with the rest covering books, personal expenses and transportation.

However, it's worth noting that many students do not pay the entire cost of tuition and other fees out of pocket. The university offers a range of financial aid options, including merit-based scholarships and need-based grants. Your actual out-of-pocket costs could be much less than the sticker price.

The university's website has a Net Price Calculator that you can use to estimate your likely cost of attendance after financial aid. You'll just need to enter some financial information about your family to get the estimate. This can be helpful for getting a more accurate idea of what you might expect to pay. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate and the final number can fluctuate.
