What are the GPA requirements for TCU admission?

Hey everyone! I'm seriously considering applying to Texas Christian University (TCU) and I'd love to know what their GPA requirements are. I'm currently a junior, maintaining a decent GPA, but I'm worried it might not be high enough. Anyone know what kind of range they're looking for? Thanks in advance!

While Texas Christian University (TCU) doesn't specify a minimum GPA for admission, the average GPA of admitted students tends to be quite high. On a 4.0 scale, the middle 50% of admitted TCU students have had high school GPAs between approximately 3.6 and 4.0. So a strong academic record is definitely important.

However, remember that TCU adopts a holistic approach to their admissions process. So, they consider a lot more than just your GPA when making admission decisions. They'll also look at your course rigor (how challenging your coursework has been), test scores, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, essays, and recommendations, among other factors.

If your GPA isn't in the typical range for admitted TCU students, but you have strong elements in other areas of your application, it could still be worth applying. And if there are any extenuating circumstances that have impacted your GPA, be sure to explain them in your application. It's essential to make sure all parts of your application are as strong as they can be, especially if you're worried about your GPA. Good luck!
