Lookup for Easiest Math Class at Joliet Junior College

Hey everyone, I'll (hopefully!) be heading to Joliet Junior College soon. So, I'm here to gather some Intel. Which of their math classes would you say is the easiest? More specifically, after completing college algebra, which class should I consider next? Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Choosing a math course after completing college algebra at Joliet Junior College really depends on your interests and future academic or career plans. However, I can provide some advice based on what many students find manageable.

Statistics is often considered a less abstract course, as it extensively uses real-world examples to explain concepts, though it still requires a solid understanding of algebra. It can be a great choice if you're more interested in practical applications of math, which can be particularly beneficial if you're going into a field like social sciences, health sciences, or business.

If you're interested in a traditional mathematical progression, you might consider Trigonometry or Precalculus. Both of these courses are a step forward but not necessarily as abstract and complex as Calculus. However, they will involve more complex algebraic manipulation than Statistics.

Remember that what's "easy" can vary greatly from person to person, depending on their natural aptitude and interest in math. Consider your own strengths and future academic or career goals before making a decision, and if possible, discuss your options with your academic advisor at Joliet Junior College for personalized advice. Good luck!
