Easiest Queens College Classes?

I'm currently enrolled in Queens College and I'm looking to fulfill my creative expression requirement next semester. Anyone know what the easiest creative expression classes/courses are at QC?

Absolutely, happy to provide some insights here. Please remember these 'easy' course suggestions are subjective and will greatly depend on your individual interests, skills, and dedication.

1. Art of Listening (MUS 10) : This is often considered more of an introductory class where you'll be listening to and discussing a variety of different music styles. This class might be particularly enjoyable if you already appreciate music.

2. Introduction to Theater (DRA 100): You'll be studying theater’s historical, ritual, social, and aesthetic aspects in this course. No theatrical experience is needed, and it can be an enjoyable way to fulfill the requirement if you have an interest in theater or performance arts.

3. Creative Writing (ENGL 210W): If you enjoy writing, this class can also be a good choice. You'll explore different styles of writing from poetry to prose, and although there will be assignments, they can be engaging and enjoyable if you're into this kind of creative expression.

4. Introduction to Painting (ARTS 185): This class provides an introduction to painting, including learning about color theory and practical painting techniques. If you're more into visual arts, this could be a great class to consider.

5. Dance & Culture (DNC 101): This class explores dance in different cultural, social, and artistic contexts. If you enjoy dancing or learning about different cultures, this class could be a great fit.

That said, make sure you also look at the professor and syllabus when choosing 'easy' classes - the professor's teaching style can greatly influence the course load and how you perceive the difficulty of a class. Other students' reviews can also provide helpful insights.

Lastly, even 'easy' creative expression classes require active participation and engagement. The more interest and effort you put into the class, the more enjoyable you'll find it. Good luck with your class selection!
