Easiest science class at Queens College?

Hey everyone, I'm working on my schedule for next semester and I need to fill in a science requirement. For those of you familiar with Queens College, do you have any recommendations for what the easiest science class might be? Are there any profs who are particularly good or classes that aren't too heavy on the workload?

Depending on your comfort level and interests in science, different classes may be considered "easy" to different students. That said, it's also important to understand that the level of difficulty can vary based on the professor teaching the course.

If you're interested in topics related to the environment and sustainability, General Geology might be an accessible option. From what I understand, the course covers basic geological principles and concepts, which for many students are more intuitive and concrete compared to other fields in science.

But if you're more attuned to understanding how life works or you have an interest in health-related topics, you might want to consider a general biology or anatomy class. Often these classes involve learning key concepts and terminologies, rather than demanding heavy calculations or complex problem-solving, which some students find challenging.

Furthermore, I'd suggest using resources like Rate My Professors to get some candid feedback on course workload and teaching style. However, take these ratings with a grain of salt as everyone's learning style differ, and what works for someone might not work for you.

Lastly, I encourage you to reach out to your academic adviser or the science department advisers to discuss the science options that will be most appropriate for your academic goals and interests. They are in a good position to review your academic background and provide suggestions suited to your needs.
