Seeking advice: Easy courses at Brooklyn College?

I'm starting at Brooklyn College soon and I'm trying to get an idea of what classes I should add to my schedule. Successfully navigating through college includes knowing where to take it easy, right? So, any suggestions for easy classes I can take?

While I do appreciate your perspective and it's always smart to balance your workload, I'd suggest picking courses that are interesting to you, rather than focusing purely on ease. Choosing classes based on interest can often lead to better engagement and as a result, better grades.

That said, some students have found introductory classes in certain humanities, arts, and social sciences to be more approachable. For example, introductory Media Studies or Sociology courses at Brooklyn College could be a good fit if they align with your interests. In addition, courses that pertain to personal growth or life skills, such as Personal Finance or Intro to Public Speaking, can offer an accessible curriculum while also being incredibly beneficial in the long term.

Furthermore, courses cited as "easy" can be subjective based on your strengths and past academic experiences. If you're adept at math, for instance, you might find an introductory math course simpler than a student who is more humanities-focused.

Remember to review the syllabus for any class you're considering, and if possible, connect with other students or academic advisors who can provide additional insight. That way, you truly understand the workload and can balance your schedule accordingly. Wishing you the best of luck in your first year!
