Looking for Manageable Classes at Stonehill College

Sup guys. I've enrolled in Stonehill College and I'm trying to figure out my first semester schedule. So, any of you who've been there, done that, could you suggest easier classes I could take?

Welcome to Stonehill College! It's exciting that you're getting started with preparing your first semester schedule. However, I would advise against focusing solely on seeking "easy" classes. College, after all, is an essential time for academic exploration and development.

Since you didn't mention your desired major or interests, it's a bit tricky to suggest specific courses. Still, I would recommend considering courses that fulfill general education requirements, as they often cover interesting and varied material.

For instance, Intro to Philosophy is a class discussed positively by many students due to its engaging and thought-provoking content, while not being too demanding. Similarly, Principles of Microeconomics could be another lighter course that provides you with a useful foundational knowledge that will be applicable in many fields.

Introductory courses in your intended major could also be a good idea, assuming you have chosen one. It allows you to gauge the workload and content in your future field, and they are generally designed to ease students into the subject.

Additionally, some first-year classes like First Year Seminar, a course that's mandatory for all new students, could be also beneficial. The workload is generally manageable, and it introduces you to various resources and opportunities on the campus.

However, remember that what may seem easier entirely depends on your strengths and interests. Find a balance between the courses you find fascinating and those that could offer a lighter course-load. Enjoy your first semester and best of luck!
