Advice on the easiest classes at Washtenaw Community College?

Hello everyone, I've recently been accepted to Washtenaw Community College. I am thinking of taking some light-load classes for my first semester. Could someone suggest me the easiest classes at Washtenaw?

Firstly, congratulations on your acceptance to Washtenaw Community College! For light-load classes, you might want to firstly consider the general education requirements, as they tend to cover many different subjects and typically have a lower workload.

Starting with entry-level courses in subjects you're already familiar with can make your transition smoother. For instance, if you excelled at English in high school, you might find Composition I (ENG 111) manageable. Intro to Psychology (PSY 100) is another common choice for first-year students. It provides a broad, entry-level understanding of various aspects of psychology, which many students find engaging and mildly challenging.

Courses in the arts, such as Intro to Art (ART 100) and Intro to Music (MUS 100), can also provide a less strenuous academic experience while still providing you with valuable knowledge. These courses usually don't require previous experience in the field and provide an overview of the subject matter that can be quite enjoyable.

Exercise and Health Science courses like Fitness Walking (PEAC 129) or Basic Yoga (PEAC 130) could be considered too. They have physical activity components which tend to average out the academic load.

Remember, what is easy for one student might not be easy for another depending on your strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Also, every professor teaches differently, so you might also want to take a look at professor ratings when selecting your courses.

Good luck with your first semester!
