Suggestions on easiest classes at Westmont College

Hey folks, I am just curious to know: what are the easiest classes to take at Westmont College? I'm applying there and would like to think about a potential schedule if I'm accepted.

It's good that you want to think about this now and balance your class schedule. This can indeed help to manage stress and ensure that you give adequate time to each subject. However, do be aware that perceptions of "easiness" can be highly subjective, as they depend on individual strengths, interests, and sometimes the professor who is teaching the class.

That said, based on some of the conversation among Westmont College students, here are a few classes that are often mentioned as comparatively less demanding:

1. Principles of Art - ART 001: Designed to develop a basic understanding of the visual arts. Students have mentioned enjoying this course as it involves studying various art forms rather than creating art, which can be an easier task for those not inclined toward artistic production. Keep in mind that if you're not interested in art at all, it might be more challenging, regardless of the workload.

2. General Psychology - PSY 001: An elementary course in the science of psychology, this is typically seen as quite manageable due to its general nature. But, it can depend on your prior knowledge and interest in psychology.

It's important to note that while these courses might be considered "easier" by some students, they still require effort and engagement. In addition, consider picking classes that align with your interests or career goals. A class that you're genuinely interested in can often feel less demanding, even if the workload is heavy!

Lastly, take advantage of office hours and tutoring resources if you need additional support in any class you choose. Good luck with your schedule planning!
