Miami College Class Recommendations for Good Grades

Hey, guys! So, I'm headed to college in Miami this fall. Any suggestions on which easy classes to take that could help me score better grades? Nothing specifically related to my major but more along the lines of general education or elective types. I figure it could help increase my GPA little. Your thoughts?

A good starting point when you're trying to find manageable classes in your college is to investigate any possible introductory-level courses or popular electives. These types of classes often serve as a pleasant mix of students from different majors, and their general content lends itself well to those not specifically seeking an advanced understanding of the subject.

You might consider courses in a variety of areas depending upon your interests. Here are a few ideas:

1. Intro to Psychology: This often comes recommended as an engaging and often lighter workload course. The subject matter can be quite intriguing for many students, as it discusses human behavior, emotions, mental processes, and more.

2. Art or Music Appreciation: These courses focus on familiarity with multiple art forms or music types rather than technical proficiency. This generally leads to a lighter workload while improving one's cultural knowledge.

3. Love, Sex, and Marriage: Many universities offer sociology courses on relationships and family structures. These can be interesting and offer a refreshing perspective on personal relationships.

4. Basic IT Classes: With the increasing reliance on technology, a basic IT or computer science course could prove useful, adding a useful skill to your resumé.

5. Introductory Foreign Language: Another great choice can be an introductory foreign language course. Not only will this introduce you to a new language, but it often comes with insights into a different culture.

However, remember that "easy" or "hard" is relative—not all classes will be easy for all students. Be sure to check out the professors' ratings and reviews from other students before enrolling in the class. Please consider your other course workload and commitments before adding an elective to your schedule. Even a so-called "easy" class will require time and effort to earn a good grade.
