What is usually considered the easiest college course?

Hey all, senior year is kind of stressing me out already and I'm just trying to figure out how to balance everything for when I get to college. I was wondering, are there any courses that are usually considered 'easier' or less time-consuming to take? I'm not looking for a simple way out, but I just want to be able to manage my time efficiently. Thanks in advance!

Every college student's experience with course difficulty can vary widely depending on their strengths, interests, the particular professor they have, and more. What's 'easy' for one student can be extremely difficult for another.

However, some classes are often seen as less demanding, such as introductory level classes, especially in subjects that are not related to your major. For example, if you're a STEM major, a beginner's course in the humanities, like Art History 101 or Intro to Psychology, may seem easier and less time-consuming because they typically require less problem-solving homework compared to hard science classes.

Another category to look into are classes called 'survey courses'. They are generally broad, overview classes that can serve as introductions to a discipline, but they're usually not very in-depth.

Physical education or fitness classes are also often considered less academically demanding, but they might require a regular commitment of time.

Lastly, many find 'seminar' classes to be less demanding. These classes typically have small numbers of students and revolve around discussion as opposed to lectures or exams. They are time-consuming but not always academically strenuous.

Remember, though, that even 'easier' classes still require commitment and effort. Plus it's always a good idea to pursue courses that truly interest you, as they can make the workload feel less heavy due to your engagement with the material.

Balancing your time in college is indeed crucial. Good luck on your journey!
