Colleges where it's Easier to Get an A

Hi folks! I'm a current junior, and I wanna know if any of you out there know of colleges where it's somewhat easier to score A grades? I understand the work is what you put into it, but still, a little mercy would help. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

There are indeed some colleges where the grading curves are considered relatively generous. Remember, though, that a central tenet of education is growth and challenging oneself, so consider this info in tandem with other deciding factors such as academic rigor, faculty quality, and course offerings.

Harvard University and Stanford University are often pointed out for practicing grade inflation. There was even a report a couple of years ago about the most common grade at Harvard being an A. These top-tier colleges are highly competitive, though - while you might find higher grades once you're in, getting accepted in the first place is a significant challenge.

Additionally, some smaller liberal arts colleges like Wesleyan University and Carleton College are known for nurturing their students and, consequently, might have a more lenient grading policy.

Bear in mind that variation exists inside colleges as well. Some departments are known for being tougher graders than others. For instance, in many universities, the STEM departments tend to grade more rigorously than the Humanities departments.

In any case, you should aim to choose a college that aligns well with your interests, academic goals, and preferred environments. The level of comfort and interest in your chosen major can also play a significant role in contributing to your GPA.
