What's the easiest college degree to obtain?

Hi everyone! I'm wondering, based on your experience or what you've heard, what's considered the 'easiest' college degree to obtain? I understand that 'easy' is subjective so I'd appreciate any input you can give. Thanks!

You're right when you say that 'easy' is subjective; it highly depends on personal strengths, interests and dedication. What may seem easy to one person could be quite challenging to another. Therefore, it's not advisable or fruitful to seek out the easiest degree, but rather the one that aligns best with your academic strengths and career goals.

That being said, some commonly mentioned less-intensive majors include Communications, English, History or Psychology among others. However, each of these also has its unique challenges. For example, English and History often involve heavy reading and essay-writing, while Psychology can require mastering various research methodologies and statistical analyses.

Remember not to choose a major solely based on perceived difficulty. The best course to take is usually one that aligns with your interests, abilities, and post-college goals. Your engagement and passion in the discipline can make the path feel easier and more rewarding. For instance, if you're a natural in mathematics, a math-based major might be 'easy' for you even though it’s traditionally considered as challenging.

Finally, it's worth noting that most careers aren't interested solely in the 'ease' of a degree, but rather in the skills and knowledge that you've acquired. Be sure to consider how your chosen degree will prepare you for your future career path.
