Looking for a Science Class in College

I was hoping someone could help me out. My major requires me to take a few science credits, but science is definitely not my strong suit. That being said, what is overall the easiest science class in college?

The answer to your question really depends on your interests and the way you learn best. But here's a general guide that may help.

Introductory courses in psychology or environmental science are often seen as some of the most approachable science classes for students from non-science majors. These are typically designed for students with little to no background in the field.

Psychology 101 covers basic concepts and theories in psychology. This might appeal to you if you're interested in learning about human behavior and mental processes. Plus, it often involves quite a bit of discussion and interpretation, which can make it feel more relatable and less technically challenging.

Environmental science, on the other hand, explores the relationship between human beings and the environment. The content can range from understanding weather patterns and ecosystems to tackling contemporary environmental issues. This course often emphasizes concepts and ideas more than equations and calculations, which some students find more accessible.

That said, don't forget that 'easy' can be quite subjective. What one student finds easy, another might find difficult. It heavily depends on your personal strengths, motivations, and interests. For example, if you've always enjoyed learning about the stars and planets, an Astronomy 101 course might seem easier to you than an Environmental Science course to another student who is passionate about ecosystems.

So, before finalizing your decision, try to look at the course syllabus or chat with students who have taken the science class you're interested in. It'll give you a clearer idea of whether that particular science class aligns with your strengths and interests. Plus, you'll be more likely to succeed—and maybe even enjoy—the coursework if it's something you're genuinely interested in!
