Easiest Science Subject in College

Hi all, I'm really struggling to decide on which science course I should take in college. I do well enough in high school science, but I'm a humanities major, so I might struggle a bit more in college-level science courses. Can anyone share their experiences and tell me what is the easiest science subject to take in college?

Determining the “easiest” science course can depend greatly on your strengths, interests, and the specific courses offered at your college. Broadly speaking, there are some courses that tend to be less math-intensive, such as Biology or Environmental Science courses, which might be easier for someone who is more inclined towards humanities.

Biology is a course where the subject matter can be vast, but it often involves memorization and understanding of concepts rather than numerical problem-solving, at the introductory level. Topics can range from the functional mechanisms of living organisms to exploring ecosystems and biodiversity.

Environmental Science can be quite interdisciplinary, often discussing real-world issues and scenarios. It can cover topics like ecosystems, pollution, conservation, and climate change. This course might align well with a humanities perspective, as it could involve discussions on social and ethical implications of environmental problems.

Still, it's crucial to take into account your own interests. If a subject captivates you, it may naturally appear easier because of your inherent curiosity and willingness to learn. For instance, if you love planets and space, Astronomy could be your "easiest" science course, even if it requires some mathematical calculations.

Remember, you can always ask for course syllabi or speak with upperclassmen, advisors, or professors to gain more insight into the nature of specific courses at your college before settling on one.

Biology or Environmental Science might be a good starting point for your inquiry, but the "easiest" science course for you will ultimately depend on your personal interests and intellectual strengths.
