Easiest college literature class?

Hey everyone, quick question! For my college requirements, I need to take a literature class. I've heard that some can be more challenging than others. Can anyone suggest a literature class that's typically viewed as easy?

If you're looking for a literature course that's more on the accessible side, you might consider introduction-level courses or ones that focus on contemporary literature. Introduction to Literature or Contemporary American Literature, for example, often present a broad view of literature with a focus on basic analysis and comprehension skills.

A course focusing on a particular genre, such as Introduction to Fiction or Survey of Drama, might also be easier to handle than a heavy, all-encompassing course like British Literature from Beowulf to Virginia Woolf. Genre-focused courses are great because they allow you to focus on understanding the specific elements and conventions of that type of literature.

Finally, you might also consider courses that align with your own interests. If you're into science fiction, for instance, a course like Science Fiction and Society could be fun and engaging for you.

Remember, though, that 'easy' is subjective, and what one person finds straightforward, someone else might find complex. Your enjoyment and ease in the course will also largely depend on your interest in the material and dedication to the class. Additionally, the professor teaching the course can make a significant difference in how accessible and enjoyable the course is. You might want to check out professor ratings or ask classmates about their experiences with certain professors.
