Navigating Psychology in College - Easiest Course?

I'm becoming increasingly interested in psychology, and I think it's about time I try out a class in college. However, I don't have much background in the subject and want to ease myself into it. Does anyone have a suggestion for which psychology course is typically the easiest for beginners?

Many colleges offer introductory psychology courses specifically designed for students with little to no background in the field. An introductory course typically covers various branches of psychology such as cognitive, developmental, social, and abnormal psychology. It is designed to provide a broad, foundational understanding of the discipline.

However, if you are looking for a more specific course that tends to be beginner-friendly, “Psychology of Adjustment” or “Positive Psychology” could be good options. These classes often focus on everyday life and personal growth, making them approachable and relatable.

Remember though, the difficulty of a class can also be influenced by the instructor's teaching style, the course format, grading policies, and your personal interest in the topic. Therefore, it may be helpful to talk to upperclassmen, attend the first class (if class shopping is an option), or read course reviews online (if available). This would allow you to understand a specific course and its demands better.
