Looking for Literature Courses - What's the Easiest?

I am excited to take a literature class in college as part of my Gen Eds. Although, with how my schedule is shaping up for next semester, I think it would be best to take a course that isn't overloaded with massive reading requirements. Any ideas on which literature course might be the easiest to handle alongside heavy courses?

1. Introduction to Poetry: These types of courses often only require readings of short poems. The assignments may require deep analysis and original interpretation, but the actual reading length is usually short.

2. Children's Literature: This course can sometimes be underestimated but offers rich and engaging content that is usually lighter in comparison to other literature courses. You might find it refreshing and insightful to study literature through a completely new lens.

3. World Literature: These courses often include a variety of short stories and parts of novels from around the world. You may not be required to read full-length novels, making the reading load more manageable.

4. Genre-specific courses: Often, courses focusing on specific genres, such as mystery or science fiction, have more readable and engaging texts that some students find easier to consume.
