Linking the College Board to Common App

What's the deal with linking my College Board account to my Common App? I saw something about it but am not exactly sure why it's important or how to do it. If you've done it before, could you walk me through it, please?

Hi there! Linking your College Board account to your Common App account is a valuable step because it simplifies the process of sending your SAT scores to the colleges you're applying to. It's not a complicated process at all!

To start, log in to your Common App account and head to the 'College Search' tab to find and add the colleges you're applying to. Next, go to the 'My Colleges' tab and select a college, then navigate to the 'Recommenders and FERPA' section where you'll find the 'Standardized Test Scores' subsection. Here, you'll see the option to link your College Board account.

Just follow the prompts to sign in to your College Board account and give permission for the Common App to access your score reports. And that's it! Your scores will now be accessible through the Common App for any college you apply to, which streamlines the process for both you and the admissions offices. Hope this helps, and best of luck with your applications!
