Right guys, so I live in California and really want to stay as close to home as possible when I go off to college. Are there any colleges in CA that have a pretty relaxed admission policy? Any insights would be really helpful!

Absolutely, there are numerous universities and colleges in California with higher acceptance rates. These schools often provide quality education while being a bit more accessible based on admission.

1. San Francisco State University has an acceptance rate of around 91%. It offers diverse fields of study, from Business to Creative Arts.

2. California State University, Northridge also has a high acceptance rate, at around 68%. It provides a variety of programs in areas like Psychology, Business, and Hospitality and Tourism.

Do keep in mind, even with a high acceptance rate, you should strive for strong academics and solid extracurricular activities. Other application factors such as essays, recommendation letters, and hard work in rigorous courses can make an application stand out. These acceptance rates may change slightly every year, and each applicant pool is different, so apply to a variety of schools that fit your preferences beyond just acceptance rates.
