What are some of the easiest scholarships available for incoming college freshmen?

Hey all, I'm gearing up for senior year, and the hunt for scholarships to lighten the financial load is giving me a lot of stress. Can anyone recommend some of the easiest scholarships to apply for that incoming college freshmen usually qualify for? Would really appreciate any helpful advice here!

Hello! It's fantastic that you're being proactive about finding scholarships to help fund your college education. While the ease of obtaining a scholarship often varies due to factors like the number of applicants and your qualification for the scholarship, I can definitely provide a few suggestions that have simpler application processes compared to others:

1. The "No Essay" College Scholarship from Niche: This $2,000 scholarship is a monthly opportunity where you simply create a free account on Niche, and you're automatically entered in the running for the scholarship. Easy as that!

2. The Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship: To qualify for the Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship, simply complete an easy online application and write a 140-character pledge to not text and drive by the deadline of September 30 (coinciding with No Texting While Driving Day). Finalists will be selected and asked to write an essay on the topic, with the best essay taking home the $1,000 scholarship!

3. Big Future Scholarships: No essay, no minimum GPA or test score, or citizenship requirements. Just follow the steps for chances to win (Start Your College List, Start Your Career List, Start Your Scholarship List, Strengthen Your College List, Complete Your FASFA, and Apply to Colleges). The more steps you complete and the earlier you start, the more chances you have to win!

4. You might want to have a look at local scholarships offered by organizations or businesses in your city or state. These scholarships often have fewer applicants, therefore increasing your chances of winning.

While these are some options, the best scholarships to go for are still the ones where you meet all the eligibility requirements and align well with your interests and experiences. Keep in mind that smaller, more frequent scholarships often add up and are worth the time to apply for! Good luck with your scholarship hunting. I hope this helps!
