Balancing workload at Rowan University

So, I might be headed to Rowan University next year. Could someone suggest a few 'easier' or less demanding classes that I could take to balance out the heavy ones?

Certainly, it's an excellent strategy to balance your course load to manage your time and stress levels effectively. However, note that what one person might find easy is not necessarily easy for someone else and heavily depends on one's skills and interests.

That being said, there are some courses at Rowan University which students have generally found to be less demanding, thus allowing them to balance their workload more effectively.

1. Introduction to Communication studies: This class provides a broad overview of various communication theories and principles. Students mention it as being quite engaging and not too difficult.

2. Introduction to Astronomy: The subject matter is fascinating for those interested in space exploration, and it doesn't require a strong math or science background.

3. Introduction to Philosophy: This course is great if you’re interested in critical thinking and pondering life's big questions. Although reading assignments can be dense, overall workload is considered moderate.

4. World Music: This course explores the music of different cultures from around the globe. It's typically considered a lighter load and can enhance your appreciation for diverse cultural expressions.

5. Elementary Spanish: If you're interested in learning a new language, basic Spanish is often a good choice. You'll learn basic vocabulary and conversation skills, which can be useful in other parts of life too.

Remember, you should consider how these courses fit into your major requirements or your broader academic and career goals. Combining courses based on personal interest with those deemed generally more manageable is an effective strategy to maintain a balanced and fulfilling academic schedule.
