History Class Recommendations at University of Delaware?

Thinking about applying to the University of Delaware next year. I'm definitely a history geek so I want to take some history classes, but also want some downtime. Can anyone suggest which history classes at the University of Delaware are particularly manageable?

While I don't have personal experience, I have heard from several University of Delaware students that there are a number of interesting and balanced history courses available. A fan favorite is 'HIST103: World History Since 1945'. This course offers a comprehensive look at global historical developments from the end of World War II to the present. Despite its expansive scope, many students find it quite manageable due to the engaging lecture style of the professors who commonly teach it.

Another course that comes with good reviews is 'HIST207: African American History'. Not only is the subject matter deeply informative and thought-provoking, but the workload is also known to be quite reasonable.

Remember, however, that a lot depends on how you mesh with the professor's teaching style and expectations. Also, how manageable a course feels can greatly depend on your interest and previous knowledge in the subject, as well as how many other demanding courses you're taking in the same semester. Consider reaching out to current students at the University of Delaware who share your academic interest. They may have firsthand accounts and strategic advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
