Easiest Major to Pursue at Auburn University?

Hey all, currently a rising junior thinking about what path to follow once in college. I've pegged Auburn University as one of my top choices. Any suggestions on what the easiest major to pursue there is?

While it's common to wonder about easy and hard majors, it's important to remember that the "easiest" major will vary greatly from one person to the next. This is because what seems easy or hard can be subjective and depends on the student's passions, strengths, and weaknesses. For example, a student who loves numbers and enjoys problem-solving may find a major in mathematics to be relatively easy, whereas a student who struggles with mathematical concepts may find the same major extremely challenging.

That said, at Auburn University (as with many universities), majors like Interdisciplinary Studies can be perceived as less intense as they allow for flexibility and customization based on students' interests. This kind of program can provide students the opportunity to draw from a wide array of courses and disciplines, possibly avoiding some of the more rigorous or complex areas of study.

Additionally, knowing the student-to-faculty ratio and the average class size in certain departments can also provide insights into the perceived ease of a major. Typically, majors with smaller class sizes often mean more personalized attention and support from professors, which can potentially make the coursework more manageable.

While considering the "easiest" major for you, a better approach might be to consider what subjects genuinely interest you and align with your career goals. Interested students often find the subject matter more engaging which can make the inherent workload seem lighter. On the other hand, pursuing a major just because it's "easy" may leave you unfulfilled and not adequately prepared for your career path.

Remember that college is not just about finding the path of least resistance, but about preparing for a future career and developing a deep understanding of a field you're passionate about.
