Has anyone here had any experiences with Tier 3 courses at Ohio University? I'm looking for the easiest/most manageable ones to add to my schedule. Any tips would be really appreciated!
My advice would be to consider courses that align with your interests as they tend to be more manageable. That being said, many students have found some classes to be relatively easy or at least less demanding. For example, Physical Geology (GEOL 1010) and Intro to Sociology (SOC 1000) often receive good reviews from students who've taken them.
Another suggestion would be Theatrical Experience (THAR 1710). It’s often considered less intense with interesting material to engage with. Plus, if you have any interest in theater, it could be fun.
Exploring Musical Styles (MUS 1200) was found enjoyable by students who have a fondness for music, and has also been mentioned as relatively less demanding.
Please remember that the coursework can be quite subjective, and what one person finds easy, another might find difficult. It's equally important to consider how the course might fit into your overall academic goal. Balancing your courses appropriately makes a big difference for easing academic stress and ensuring success.
