Easiest Professors at University of Florida?

I am heading to the University of Florida and I'm wondering if there are any professors known for being a bit easier. I want to start off on a good footing and not overload myself. Any thoughts?

While it's understandable that you want to start off on a smooth note in your freshman year, it might be more beneficial to focus on finding professors who are great at teaching and who can make complex subjects understandable and enjoyable, rather than trying to find "easy" ones.

Remember, many courses that are deemed "easy" might not necessarily contribute toward enhancing your knowledge or skills. However, if you're seeking professors who are particularly well-liked or engaging, some sites allow students to provide their ratings and experiences with different professors. You could check out some of those ratings to get a feel for which professors the University of Florida students consider motivating and skilled at teaching.

Additionally, you could try to get in touch with current students or alumni for their perspective—it’s often a good idea to get firsthand accounts from people who have experienced classes with these professors.

Lastly, when picking your classes, balance is key. Aim for a mix of more challenging core classes for your major and some that are a bit lighter or align closely with your existing skills and interests. This will make your workload more manageable and also keep your academic experience varied and interesting.

Good luck with your first semester at the University of Florida, it’s a great school with a lot to offer!
