Easy Science classes at University of Oregon?

Can anyone from UO share some intel on the easiest science classes to take? I'll be heading there this fall and could use some help.

I'd recommend considering some of the science courses at the University of Oregon that are known to be more accessible to non-science majors. Bear in mind that "easy" is subjective and depends on your personal strengths, study habits, and interest in the subject. The idea is to find a class that you will enjoy and excel in.

One option is The Physics of Life. This class explores physics concepts by applying them to biological systems. It can be easier to grasp if you're interested in biology or health sciences but not as keen on traditional physics topics.

Another course to consider could be The Violent Earth. This covers natural disasters like volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. It's popular among non-science majors as it focuses less on heavy scientific theories and more on phenomena and its effect on human population.

Finally, there's The Solar System, which provides an introduction to the fascinating world of astronomy. It's generally considered a less intensive science course.

Remember to also consider the professor's teaching style and approach. You might find it helpful to check out some reviews on platforms like Rate My Professors or get opinions from upperclassmen or academic advisors who are familiar with the faculty.

One last piece of advice: even "easy" classes require effort. Remember, stay prepared, participate, and keep up with the coursework. Good luck!
