Military Branch Risk Levels

Hello! Recently, I've been seriously considering joining the military after high school but it's all so overwhelming. The element of danger is undeniable, but does anyone know which branch is statistically the most dangerous to serve in? Thanks in advance.

In the United States, determining the "most dangerous" branch of the military can be complex because each branch has diverse roles, some of which expose service members to different levels of risk. However, based on available statistical data, some branches of the military may have higher casualty rates or risks than others, primarily based on the nature of their engagements and operations.

The United States Army has historically reported the highest number of casualties of all the branches, largely due to the nature of their operations, which often involve ground combat. Following the Army, the Marine Corps typically sees a high level of combat and, therefore, may have a higher risk level.
