Easier Colleges to Play Football At?

Hey there! So I'm a high school junior and I play football. I'm nowhere near elite level, but I truly love the sport and want to continue in college. Are there colleges that are easier to get into for playing football? Just looking to keep doing what I love. Any advice would be great!

Absolutely, there's plenty of opportunities to continue your passion for football in college! Firstly, consider your academic and personal fit. You are attending the school for four years, and football should enhance, not hinder, your college experience.

One option is Division III schools. They focus more on the overall student-athlete experience rather than intense competition. Colleges like Amherst, Williams, and Middlebury have strong athletic programs while maintaining a focus on academics.

There's also the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), which is similar to NCAA Division II with less funding. Sometimes, their recruiting standards might be a bit more relaxed, particularly at smaller or less competitive colleges.

Lastly, club sports are another opportunity to continue playing, often with a lower time commitment. Many schools have club teams, which range from competitive to casual. This could be a great way to stay involved in the sport. For example, the University of Texas at Austin has a highly competitive club football team.

Always remember to reach out to coaches with a highlight reel and express your interest in their program. Good luck in your search!
