Easy-to-get-into colleges by state?

Hi there! I'm interested in applying to some colleges that aren't super selective, but locality matters to me. Can you guys suggest some colleges that are easier to get into, preferably by state? I want to stay close to home.

Sure, I can definitely give you some suggestions! Please note that "easy-to-get-into" is quite relative, and these schools still have specific admissions requirements. However, they do typically have higher acceptance rates or less strenuous admissions processes compared to highly selective colleges. Here are suggestions from various parts of the country:

- California: San Francisco State University, California State University Sacramento

- Texas: Texas State University, University of North Texas

- Florida: Florida Atlantic University, University of North Florida

- New York: SUNY Buffalo State, CUNY Hunter College

- Ohio: University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University

- Illinois: Illinois State University, Northern Illinois University

- Georgia: Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University

- Washington: Western Washington University, Eastern Washington University

- Michigan: Western Michigan University, Ferris State University

Remember to check out their majors and campus environment to see if they match your preferences. Also, double-check the admission requirements for each institution to ensure you meet them before applying. Good luck with your college search!
