What's the Easiest Physical Science Class to Take in College

Hello people! I'm going to have to take a physical science class as a requirement for my major. I haven't decided which one to go for yet. Any recommendations for the easiest physical science class to take in college?

The concept of 'easy' can be quite subjective as it highly depends on your strengths, interests, and academic background. However, commonly, certain classes like Astronomy and Geology are considered to be relatively easier than other physical science disciplines such as Physics or Chemistry.

Astronomy often requires less in-depth math skills compared to other physical sciences. The subject typically covers a broad range of topics such as stars, galaxies, solar systems, and cosmology, which can be fascinating if you have interest in learning about the universe.

Geology could another good choice, particularly if you have an interest in the environment and earth processes. It tends to be more tangible and relatable, as it concerns real-world phenomena that we encounter daily, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, and climate change.

Nonetheless, make sure to thoroughly review the syllabus and course requirements before choosing. Check to see if the course includes a lab portion, which will require extra time and work outside of lecture. It may also be helpful to speak with academic advisors or peers who have taken the course to get a sense of the course's difficulty and workload. Remember, the 'easiest' class will ultimately be the one you find engaging and interesting.
