What are some of the easiest college degrees?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about courses to pick for when I get into college, but I'm quite anxious about the workload. So, I was wondering, what are some of the easiest college degrees I could consider to help with my transition from high school?

Defining a degree as "easy" or "hard" can be quite subjective, as it often depends on your skills, personal strengths, and interests. But, if you're interested in majors often cited as less rigorous, you may want to consider these degrees:

1. Social Science: These include subjects like Sociology, Anthropology, and Political Science. Generally, these degrees don't require extensive lab work or mathematics, but do involve a lot of reading and writing.

2. Humanities: Courses like English, History, or Philosophy teach valuable skills in critical thinking, communication, and analysis but typically don't involve the intense coursework associated with some other fields.

3. Communications: Degrees such as Communication Studies, Public Relations, or Marketing often require you to work on presentation skills and understanding how to construct messages that appeal to different audiences. The workload is usually manageable due to the practical nature of the subjects.

4. Business Administration: While not always the easiest, this major is sought after for its practicality, real-life application, and wide array of opportunities post-graduation. Note, this can depend greatly on the specific track within the major (i.e., Finance may be considerably more rigorous than General Management).

5. Education: If you have a passion for teaching others, pursuing a degree in Education could be a good fit.

Remember, ease should not be the only deciding factor when choosing your major. Align your choice with your career goals and personal interests. In fact, a field you're truly interested in can feel less challenging because you enjoy the subject matter. But no matter what degree you pick, college will likely be more demanding than high school, and that's okay. This is part of the learning experience and personal growth during your college years.
