North Carolina College Admittance

I'm keen on staying close to home and looking at colleges here in North Carolina. I realize some colleges could be a long shot, so do you guys know which colleges here tend to have more accessible admissions?

One thing to understand is that the definition of "accessible" could be different for everyone. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have institutions like Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC Chapel Hill) which are highly selective.
