Good colleges that are relatively stress-free to get into?

I'm a high school junior exploring my college options. I'm mindful of my limits as I make my choices and prefer not to put myself under too much stress. Are there any 'good' colleges (solid programs, engaging campus life) that are known for being fairly easy to get into?

You're approaching this with a good mindset! Severe stress isn't necessary to find colleges you'll both enjoy and succeed at. It's also important to keep in mind that "good" can be a subjective term and may depend on your specific interests, whether that's a certain major or extracurricular activities. That being said, here are some colleges with less stressful admissions processes, and strong academic programs:

1. Arizona State University: It's the country's largest public university and has an acceptance rate of around 90%. It offers a wide array of majors and has a vibrant campus life.

2. Ohio University: With an acceptance rate of around 85%, Ohio University is known for its strong media and journalism programs. The school also has a vibrant campus known for its beautiful setting.

3. University of Iowa: This university offers strong programs in writing and health sciences, among others. Its acceptance rate is around 85%.

4. Indiana University Bloomington: While it may be slightly more competitive with a 80% acceptance rate, it's known for strong programs in business and music. It also has an active campus life.

5. University of Oregon: Known for its environmental studies programs, the University of Oregon has an acceptance rate of about 85%. Their varied social and athletic activities cater to many different interests.

Do keep in mind that you should also consider finding colleges “good fit” for you, not just those that are “easy to get into.” This means considering factors beyond academics like the school's culture, location, size, availability of resources, and campus opportunities.
