Easiest online college majors – what are your experiences?

I'm trying to balance work, life, and school. I've heard online college can be less demanding, are there any majors in particular that you have found to be easier than others? Or perhaps ones that have a good reputation for being manageable online?

From what I've heard, Business Administration is often singled out as an online major that many students find manageable. The reason being that many of the concepts in business are not inherently complex and can be more easily translated to an online format than, say, a lab-based science class or a hands-on art course.

Another online major known for its flexibility and comprehensibility is Communications. This field lends itself well to distance learning as much of the work can be done through reading and writing assignments. Plus, with technology playing an ever-increasing role in our everyday communication, studying this field online is all the more relevant.

Finally, I'd also recommend considering an Information Technology degree, especially if you're already comfortable with technology. Many IT programs are designed to be completed online, which makes sense given the nature of the field. An online program can also provide a practical learning environment, as you'll be working with the same tools and technology that you'd use in many IT jobs.

However, bear in mind that what one person finds easy, another might find challenging. The "easiest" major will largely depend on your own strengths, interests, and experiences. So exploration and self-reflection are key—you'll want to consider how well your chosen major aligns with your career aspirations and life goals.
