Suggestions for Easiest Science Classes in College?

Quick question for anyone who's already in college or recently graduated - I'm trying to figure out what science classes I should take in college. I'm not a major in the sciences, so I'm just looking for something straightforward to meet the requirement. Any recommendations?

Certainly, there are a number of entry-level science classes that students frequently find to be more manageable. Keep in mind, though, that what is "easiest" will also depend on where your strengths and interests lie.

1) Intro to Astronomy: This is typically a popular choice among non-science majors, as it often involves fundamental concepts and awe-inspiring topics like the solar system, stars, galaxies, and the universe as a whole. It usually requires less mathematics and complex scientific reasoning.

2) Environmental Science: This is also one that students generally find interesting, as it relates directly to our world. It typically covers topics like biodiversity, climate change, pollution, conservation, and sustainability.

3) Anthropology: If your college considers Anthropology as a science class (some do), this can be a great choice. It's often more about understanding and interpreting human behavior, culture, and evolution rather than hard science concepts.

4) Introduction to Psychology: This is another class that some schools count as a science credit. It covers the basics of human behavior, motivation, personality, mental health, and more.

5) Physical or Life Science classes: For some, an introductory class in Physics or Biology can be relatively manageable. These classes usually offer a broad overview of the subject rather than getting into the complicated specifics.

Remember, the easiest course for you mainly depends on your interests. If you’re interested in the material, you are more likely to do well. Make sure to balance between taking a class you'll enjoy and finding one that is manageable. Check out syllabi and material beforehand whenever possible, or speak with an academic advisor to aid your decision.
