World's Most Rigorous University

I'm curious, out of all the universities globally, which one is renowned as the hardest? I'm not necessarily planning to apply, but I'm interested in how it would compare to colleges here in the US, regarding coursework, acceptance rates, and so forth.

The distinction for the "most rigorous" university could largely vary depending on the specific criteria used to assess rigor. However, generally, universities known for their high academic rigor include the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in the United States, to name a few.

The emphasis on tutorial or supervisory systems, where students are taught in incredibly small groups or even one-on-one, often results in very demanding, rigorous academic schedules.
