Let's talk Southeastern College in Lakeland

Southeastern College in Lakeland has piqued my interest lately. Can anyone provide information on their academic programs? What's the vibe on campus like?

Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida, is a private Christian institution founded in 1935. Academically, they offer a variety of programs in both undergraduate and graduate levels. The university has five different academic colleges: the College of Arts & Media, the Barnett College of Ministry & Theology, the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences, the College of Education, and the Jannetides College of Business & Entrepreneurial Leadership. Students are able to explore programs like Business Administration, Practical Ministry, Social Work, and Kinesiology just to name a few.

When it comes to the atmosphere of the campus, it is deeply rooted in Christian faith, and this forms an integral part of its ethos and culture. The student body is relatively small, which fosters a sense of community and intimacy. As you can expect at most religious institutions, chapel services and regular faith-centered activities form an integral part of the student experience.

There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, with over 40 student-led clubs and organizations. As for athletics, Southeastern University competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as part of The Sun Conference.

It's worth noting that the campus itself has a tropical feel due to its Florida location. It sounds like a unique place for those who find the intersection of faith, academia, and community particularly appealing in their college search. Visiting the campus, if possible, can give you an even more tangible feel for the environment.
