Looking for info on colleges in Bolivar, MO

Hey everyone! I'm liking the idea of studying in Boliver, MO. Does anyone have any experience with colleges there? What's the campus culture like, how are the academic offerings? Appreciate any info you can give!

Hello! Bolivar, MO is home to Southwest Baptist University (SBU), a private institution with a fairly small enrollment capacity.

The academic offerings at SBU are quite diverse with more than 80 areas of undergraduate study across different disciplines, ranging from Education and Business to various Health Sciences and Liberal Arts disciplines. SBU also offers a variety of master's and doctoral degree programs.

Campus culture at SBU is considered quite close-knit and student-centered. Given the modest size of the college, the visible student-faculty interaction and smaller class sizes allow for a more personalized academic experience. SBU is a Christian university, so a lot of the campus culture revolves around Christian faith and values. Activities like regular worship services, mission trips, and Bible studies play a significant role in the daily life of many students.

The campus facilities include residence halls, library, athletic facilities, and a performing arts center. The athletes at the university compete at the NCAA Division II level. There are also several clubs and organizations students can participate in according to their interests.

I hope this helps give you the initial insight you were looking for!
