Question about Dominican U of CA

Can anyone give me some insight into Dominican U of CA? I've just started my college search, and I'd love to hear students' experiences with this university, particularly in terms of the school atmosphere, faculty, courses, and post-graduation opportunities!

Dominican University of California, located in San Rafael, is a small, private institution known for maintaining a close-knit community with small class sizes. This facilitates personalized attention and a highly interactive learning experience. The majority of students and faculty boast about the intimate classroom setting, the dedicated professors and the strong sense of community at Dominican.

In terms of courses, Dominican U is lauded for its programs related to Health Professions, Business, Psychology, Biology, and Visual and Performing Arts. Their curriculum focuses heavily on interdisciplinarity, which aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills among its students. The Barowsky School of Business is particularly praised for its rigorous and career-directed program.

Dominican also offers a unique "Four-Year Graduation Guarantee" program. Provided that students meet a few requirements, the university guarantees that they will be able to graduate in four years. This is particularly appealing to students who wish to minimize tuition costs and enter the job market or grad school as soon as possible.

Post-graduation opportunities are substantial. Dominican offers a variety of career services, including internships, job placement assistance, and networking events. Because of the school's strategic location in the Bay Area, there are valuable internship opportunities across many industries like tech, healthcare, finance, and much more.

The school atmosphere is described as very inclusive, supportive, and community-oriented. The small student population in Dominican contributes a lot into making lifelong friends and strong networks. They also have numerous clubs and organizations to meet every interest.

Lastly, the campus itself is beautiful, surrounded by trees and nearby to both downtown San Rafael and San Francisco.

Overall, Dominican University of California offers a well-rounded education in an intimate and supportive environment. As with any college search, however, it would be beneficial to visit the campus if possible, or reach out to current students or alumni to get a firsthand account of their experiences.
