Looking to apply to UCRiv and would appreciate some input. Anyone have strict details specifically relating to their academic programs and student life?

The University of California, Riverside (UCR) is one of the 10 campuses within the UC system and it's known to be a great choice for students who are interested in research opportunities and engaging in various student life activities.

Academically, UCR is especially known for its programs in Business, Engineering, and the Biological Sciences. The School of Business at UCR offers various majors including Business Administration and Business Economics. The Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering is home to a number of popular engineering fields like Chemical, Environmental, and Computer Engineering among others. The College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences is known for its emphasis on research and offers majors in disciplines like Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Plant Biology.

Beyond academics, UCR also boasts a vibrant student life. With over 400 student organizations ranging from academic clubs, sports clubs, to cultural and identity-based organizations, there's something for everyone here.
