Maine Maritime Academy: What's it like?

Hey everyone, I've been exploring a bit and somehow landed on Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, ME. I've heard some good things about it but was wondering if anyone here could give me a more personal perspective? Like, how's the academy's atmosphere, opportunities, life outside classes... They are particularly renowned for their Marine Engineering Technology, Marine Transportation, and Marine Biology programs.
