Curious about Regis College Campus Life

Hey everyone, so I've been looking at Regis College in Massachusetts and wanted to get some first-hand opinions about what campus life is like there. Any cool traditions, clubs, organizations or events that make it stand out? Also, how is the community, is it inclusive and friendly? Thanks!

Hi there! Regis College in Massachusetts indeed has a vibrant and active campus life known to foster a sense of community among its students.

First off, let's talk about clubs and organizations. Regis College offers a considerable number of clubs and organizations that cater to a wide variety of interests. From clubs focusing on the arts and culture, to those based on academics, and service, you're pretty much guaranteed to find something you're interested in. Some of the standout clubs include the Public Health Club, where students raise awareness about health issues, and the Social Justice League, which gets involved in a variety of community initiatives. Keep in mind that if you can't find a club that suits your interests, you can always start your own!

When it comes to events, Regis has a lot on offer too. There's the annual Regis Fest which is a homecoming weekend full of fun activities, guest performances, and athletic events. This event is something many students look forward to, and it really brings the whole community together. Another unique tradition is the "Casino Night", where students enjoy a night of games, music and prizes.

As for the community, students at Regis often describe it as close-knit and supportive. The college fosters an inclusive community environment with regular events that promote social interaction and service. They have a dedicated Center for Inclusive Excellence that works on promoting diversity and inclusivity on campus, and they host events such as cultural heritage month celebrations and diversity dialogues.

That being said, it's always a good idea to visit the campus virtually or physically (if possible) to get a real sense of the community spirit and decide if it feels right for you. Recommendations and anecdotes can provide some insight, but your own perception of the campus atmosphere and community vibe is what matters most. Good luck!
