How's the campus of Coppin State University?

Hello! I'm considering applying to Coppin State University, but I haven't had the chance to visit the campus due to COVID-19. Can anyone describe the campus for me? How's the atmosphere, the facilities, and the general vibe?

Coppin State University is a historically black college located in Baltimore, Maryland. While each person may have a different perception of the campus's atmosphere, I'll do my best to give a general overview.

Firstly, the campus is spread across about 65 acres and has a mix of modern and older buildings that provide a lot of character. The state-of-the-art Science and Technology Center is a point of pride for the school, providing students with high-tech labs and facilities.

One notable feature of Coppin State is its intimate size—around 3,000 students. It creates a close-knit community atmosphere, where students can forge strong friendships and the faculty-student ratio allows professors to know students personally. This can be a great environment if you value smaller class sizes and personalized education.

Centrally situated in the Quad, a grassy area where students often gather to chat, study, and enjoy outdoor activities when the weather is good. There's also a great deal of pride in their sports team, the Eagles, so you'll often find an energetic buzz around the Physical Education Complex on game days.

In regards to the surroundings, it's important to remember that Coppin State is located in an urban environment. Some students appreciate the diversity and vibrancy of Baltimore, while others might prefer a more traditional, isolated campus.
