What's life like in Iona, New York?

I have been accepted into a college in Iona, New York and I'd love to hear more about the area. What is there to do on/off campus? What is the community like?

A part of Westchester County, it offers a nice balance of suburban life while not being too far away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, which can provide a vast array of cultural and entertainment options for students who are willing to take a short trip.

In terms of the campus itself, many students report a close-knit, supportive community within the college. Given its smaller size, students often get to know their professors well and have opportunities for personalized instruction.
