Experiences at Loyola Chicago?

Hey everyone! I'm seriously thinking about Loyola Chicago for my undergrad. Can any current or former students share their experiences? How would you rate the campus, the faculty and the overall environment?

Loyola Chicago has a unique vibe as it combines a city-school setting with a campus charm. The main campus, Lake Shore, is really beautiful - right on Lake Michigan, with great views and places to relax or study. It's also only about a 15-minute train ride downtown, so you can explore the city, intern, or work throughout the school year.

As for faculty, many professors are genuinely interested in your learning and personal development. You'll find that they are often welcoming and open to helping you succeed outside of class hours. Like anywhere, there are a few not-so-great ones, but majority are eager to facilitate your learning.

The overall environment is friendly and inclusive. Loyola has a culture where everyone seems to respect each other's perspectives and backgrounds. Students tend to be collaborative rather than competitive, so you'll likely find a supportive community.

As a recent graduate, I would attest to the fact that Loyola University Chicago provides a wonderful balance of academic rigor, community service, and fun. The campus is absolutely stunning, especially in the warmer months when everyone is out by the lake, and the facilities are modern and equipped with great resources.
