Hi there! It's always nice to see students taking the time to research their potential college choices thoroughly. Huntingdon College, located in Montgomery, Alabama, is a liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It's a rather small college, with an undergraduate enrollment of just over a thousand students, which typically leads to smaller class sizes and potentially a greater degree of personal interaction with faculty.

One standout feature of Huntingdon is the Huntingdon Plan, which includes a laptop for every incoming student, books and information resources provided within your regular tuition and fees, and a senior-year travel-study experience. This commitment to providing resources is quite a unique feature and highly valued by many students.

Academically, Huntingdon offers more than 20 traditional undergrad programs and pre-professional programs, with Business Administration, Biology, and Sport Science being among the most popular. While it does stress liberal arts, it has a number of strong science programs as well. The academic workload is rigorous, but from what I understand, it is manageable as long as you stay organized and seek help when needed.

As for campus life, being a small school, community is a primary emphasis. There's a definite sense of unity and camaraderie among students. The college offers a variety of student clubs and organizations based on different interests and majors. Greek life is also fairly prevalent with a number of fraternities and sororities on campus.

They also have atypical sports like E-Sports and Outdoor hiking/canoeing, besides your standard baseball, basketball, golf etc, which might be a differentiator if that's of interest to you.

Keep in mind that Huntingdon is located in Montgomery, so you'd have relatively easy access to the city's many resources and events.

Remember to visit the campus if you can or do a virtual tour to get a real understanding of if you connect with the campus and its values. College choice is a personal decision and should align with your goals and values. Best of luck to you!
