University of New England, Biddeford, Maine - any opinions?

I've been looking at University of New England in Biddeford, Maine and I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of what the campus life is like there. Also, what're the student support services like?

University of New England, also known as UNE, is well-regarded for its programs in the health sciences and marine sciences. Notably, UNE has one of the only marine biology programs in the country with direct access to the coast.

As for campus life, Biddeford is a safe and friendly college town with a great amount of natural beauty. It's pretty quiet, which can be great for those who prefer a laid-back setting. There are plenty of outdoor activities available, including hiking, kayaking, and skiing in the winter. The campus is about halfway between the mountains and the ocean, making it perfect for nature lovers.

Biddeford is a relatively small town, so if you're looking for city life, you might want to consider this. However, it is within easy driving distance of Portland, which can fill that urban craving when needed.

When it comes to support services, UNE provides a strong network. There is a Student Access Center that offers accommodations to students with disabilities, as well as academic support centers for different areas of study. UNE also has a strong focus on career services, empowering students from their first day on campus to prepare for their future careers.
