Advice on Webber College

Doing a bit of a deep dive on potential colleges and Webber College cropped up. Can't find a huge amount of info. Can anyone here share any insights about life at Webber? The more first-hand experiences, the better. Thanks!

Webber International University is a very small, private institution located in Babson Park, Florida. Being a smaller university, Webber International has a tight-knit community and offers many opportunities for students to receive one-on-one instruction and build strong relationships with faculty. The university's size makes it a wonderful option for those seeking an intimate and supportive learning environment.

One of the core strengths of Webber International is its business program. As a matter of fact, the university was originally founded as a business school, and it certainly does stay true to its roots. Students speak highly of the industry-connected professors and the hands-on experience that the program offers.

Extracurricular activities are also a pivotal part of the Webber International experience. Sports are a big deal, given that the university competes in the Sun Conference. Basketball, soccer, and swimming are some of the popular sports on campus.

Despite being situated in a relatively small town, students say there's a fair amount to do because the campus is nestled on the shores of Crooked Lake, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Plus, you've got major cities like Orlando and Tampa just a couple hours away.

Keep in mind, like any institution, there are potential drawbacks as well. The small size might feel restrictive for some people, and campus facilities might not match up to those at larger universities.

Hope this information helps! Once again, the best source of advice would be students who have attended Webber International, so definitely reach out to the admissions office to see if they can connect you with current students or alumni.
