Need help converting number grades to GPA – any trustworthy calculators?

Stress levels are high right now... I have my grades in numbers but universities talk about GPA. Does anyone know a good high school GPA calculator that can turn these number grades into a GPA? Please help a fellow student out.

I completely understand the stress this might be causing, but don’t worry, you got this! It can be a bit tricky converting number grades to a GPA since different schools and districts can have varying scales. However, many high schools use a 4.0 scale, where an 'A' is typically a 4.0, a 'B' is a 3.0, and so on. If your school provides weighted GPAs for advanced classes like AP or honors, those usually have a 5.0 for an 'A' and so forth.

One tool you can use is the College Board’s GPA calculator, which allows you to input your grades and get the conversion. Another option is to consult your school’s guidance office; they often have specific tools that align with your school's grading system, and they can help ensure accuracy.

Remember, colleges are familiar with different grading systems and scales, so don’t stress too much over the conversion – accuracy is key, but so is the upward trend of your grades and the rigor of the courses you’ve taken. If you've shown dedication and challenge in your coursework, that's what truly matters.
